Recap USC experienced a decent year in 2010-11 having a 19-15 record along with a 4th place showing within the Pac-10.  In the conference tournament Southern Cal made it towards the semifinals, then proceeded to go down in the play-in game of the tournament to VCU. USC experienced results by becoming an excellent defensive team.  USC held their foes to 40.9% from the floor shooting and also to 63.3 points each contest. The loss of Nikola Vucevic and Alex Stepheson is going to be challenging to replace.  Vucevic averaged more than 17 points every game and brought down 10.3 boards each game.  Stepheson was the group’s 2nd best rebounder at more than 7 per game and also contributed just under 10 points. 2011-12 Overview Kevin O’Neill has been the USC head coach for two seasons...

2010 Review Not much was expected out of Iowa State last year. Virtually all of us figured they could be at the bottom of the Big 12 conference with just two players returning from the season before, but the Cyclones were sort of a surprise. Typically, it is tough for folks to be energized about a .500 season, but it was the first time Iowa State didn’t have a losing record since the 2005-6 season. In Fred Hoiberg’s very first year, Iowa State entirely adjusted their identity. Heading from a slow it down and grind it out group to one which ran much more and spread the court.  That alteration of pace helped the Cyclones rank fifth within the conference and 39th within the country in offense at 74.8 points each game. Iowa State also shot the three-ball very effectively last season,...
