Check out world champion handicapper Jeff Alexander’s take on the ACC this season in this odds article. In the ACC Atlantic Division, Florida State is not going to cash bets for futures wagers. A very tough road slate late in the season will ruin the Seminoles title hopes in our opinion. It will be the offensive side of the ball which ultimately does them in just as it did in 2006. We’ll pass on Clemson and Boston College and chalk up the Wake Forest Demon Deacons to repeat as ACC Atlantic champs. Wake Forest returns 15 valuable starters with eight of those on the defensive side of the ball. This experienced talent will have what it takes to get back to the ACC title game. At 7/1 odds, the Demon Deacons are one of the better buys in the country.

In the ACC Coastal Division, it’s the talented Virginia Tech Hokies who will run away with the title. A nice home schedule makes this call a no-brainer as star running back Branden Ore and defensive standout Vince Hall are just a couple of the talented players who will bring this championship home.

Georgia Tech will be without the best player in college football last season, and Miami has a solid defense but no offense to convert stops into scores.

Overall, we will take the Virginia Tech Hokies to defeat the Demon Deacon in the ACC Title game. You can get the Hokies at +200 listed at BetUS sports book. The Hokies are showing better value than Florida State even and we feel like Virginia Tech will waltz through conference play with one blemish at most, while the other schools beat each other up.
