2007 Pac10 Football Odds

Top to bottom the Pac Ten will not be the toughest conference in the country, but it’s top two teams are as good as any in the nation and the champion of this league has a great chance to play in the BCS Title Game. That champion I’m referring to is the USC Trojans. Although, at 1/3 odds, we must risk more to win less on the Trojans, no other bet in this conference is really worth making.

I’m not going too far out on a limb when I say that USC will have the best defense in the country in 2007. Even Cal’s offense will not stand a chance against the way these Trojan defenders fly around the field. USC has All-Americans at every level of their defensive unit which will help this team to run the table in the Pac Ten.

If I gave you the impression that all USC had was defense this season I apologize. I wouldn’t be laying this kind of juice if I didn’t believe in this team. John David Booty will be the Offensive Player of the Year in this conference. He stands cooler in the pocket that even Michigan’s Chad Henne or Louisville’s Brian Brohm.

Cal is going to have to settle for second place despite having a very talented team and UCLA will likely take third.
