With Super Bowl 41 just days away, it’s time you took note of the Bears Colts Super Bowl Odds. The Colts enter Sunday’s game as 7-point favorites over the Bears. Should we be surprised? Before the season was underway and the odds to win the Super Bowl were made available to futures bettors, the books spoke making the Colts their odds on favorite to capture the National Football League title.

For you novices out there, I’m going to try to help you get a better understanding of the Super Bowl odds. One of my favorite sportsbooks lists the Colts at -7-110. This line means that Indy is favored by 7-points to win the Super Bowl over the Chicago Bears. The Colts will have to win the game by 8 or more points in order to cover. If they win by 7-points the game is a push, and you won’t lose what you wagered but you won’t gain anything. The -110 in the line signifies the juice. It means that you will have to wager $110 to win $100.

There is also a line for the Total and it has been set at 48 at another online sportsbook which is the best available line if you are wanting to bet the over in Super Bowl 41. If you are wanting to bet the under, other sportsbooks would be better choices as the Total line is set at 48.5. By getting in on the line at these books, if the total game score is 48, you would still win. One thing to take note of is that lines change. Lines can be influenced by where the public’s money is going. If you find a line that you like, it’s important to get in early and beat line movement. This is a big step in becoming a successful sports investor.
