After any horse wins the Kentucky Derby, we have to ask if they have a chance at winning the Triple Crown. We haven’t seen a Triple Crown winner since Affirmed in 1978, but plenty have teased us over the last few years. What we know is that Street Sense looks like a champion, but then again, so did Silver Charm, Real Quiet, Charismatic, War Emblem, Smarty Jones, and Funny Cide. Will we be teased yet again or should we finally sense another Triple Crown winner with Street in 2007.

Bet Your Triple Crown Predictions at Bodog and if you sign up for a NEW account and let them know our site sent you, we’ll give you FREE premium service!

Jimmy Boyd’s 2007 Preakness Stakes predictions won’t steer you wrong. Let’s have a look at what should have us hopeful for a Triple Crown winner this year.

There’s no doubt that Street Sense was the best horse in the Derby. His lengthy move from the back of the pack to the front showed his pure power. This has us glass half-full optimists thinking that if Street can shatter the field under the Derby’s tough conditions that he can have his way with the friendlier Preakness track.

On the other side of this, we have to take into account that the 2007 Kentucky Derby and the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile are Street’s biggest wins and they have both come at Churchill Downs. Hopefully he isn’t a one-course horse.

The thing that really makes me hopeful that he can arrive first at the Preakness is that there is a smaller field. He won’t have as many horse to navigate through if he does drop back early. But this also means more room for his competitors. This will help horses like Curlin and Hard Spun who don’t run their best races on physical tracks.

Perhaps, the biggest thing to worry about is the fresh horses coming in. Just last year, a fresh Bernardini swooped in and beat the talented returners in the Preakness. This year, I don’t see any Benardini’s however. The most notable of these fresh horses is Todd Pletcher’s King of the Roxy. If he wasn’t even able to make it into Pletcher’s top five at the Derby, we shouldn’t have to worry about him ruining the fun at the Preakness. Pletcher’s 0-for-26 Triple Crown record is also quite good news.

Street Sense left the Derby healthy as an ox which is not always the case. He has only ran in two prep races this season which should definitely be to his benefit.

Street’s trainer has only had one Derby winner (Unbridled in 1990) who went on to finish second at the Preakness. Most would say that this history isn’t in Street’s favor, but I would say otherwise. There’s no doubt that Street Sense has a better finishing kick than any Horse Carl Nafzger has ever had. History tells me that Nafzger will have his horse ready and the talented colt will take care of the rest. I’m pulling for Street at the Preakness.

Five weeks after the Derby is run there will be plenty of people heading to the races and making Belmont predictions. This is the final and most demanding leg of the Triple Crown and it normally takes a different kind of horse to compete in this race than the first two. Jeff Alexander and his team will be going over all the news from around the race track of how each horse is looking and how the humans behind the horse are feeling about their chances of winning. This means that if you want to win without doing any work at all then you should check out our expert Belmont picks. These selections are the top selections you can get out of the handicapping world and will help make you a profit.

The good news is that making Belmont predictions is easier than the first two races since you will have more information available at the tips of your fingers. The horses have had five extra weeks to compete, train, and have us evaluate those performances. You will have to do your homework and take a look at the races leading up to the event, but what are you looking for. You will want a horse that can get it done at long distances. At the Derby the horses are bumping and grinding against up to twenty different horses and at the Preakness you want pure speed against a slim crowd. There will be another set of ten horses or so at the Belmont, but it’s stamina and not speed you will want to key in on.

One thing to look at when making Belmont predictions is the family history of the horse. There have been a total of eleven Belmont winners who later sired another champion. This was a popular form of handicapping back in the day, but the last horse that bred a winner was Triple Crown winner, Secretariate of 1973. He sired Risen Star who took home the prize in 1988. Still, look for a history of endurance in the horse’s lineage and you’ll have a better chance of coming out on top in the end.

For years, Jeff Alexander’s handicapping team has produced expert Belmont picks for his clients and we will do so again this year. There isn’t a team of horse handicappers who does much better than us at breaking everything down and finding out who the top three choices are to win, place, and show. We don’t always get it completely right, but we find value where others do not. By this time many of our clients have gotten their bankrolls padded by our Derby and Preakness picks so many of you who sign up will be repeat customers, but if you are new to the site then it’s time to start winning at the track with the help of our experts.

Our handicapping experts enjoy closing out the Triple Crown season by helping our clients win with our Belmont picks. We will once again be giving out our opinions on who is going to win, place, and show. We then suggest you bet these predictions any way you see fit by putting them into exacta, trifectas, or any other exotic. Our goal is to help you win as much money at the race track. For this race it is always interesting to see who is going to be a holdover from the Preakness and which entries are going to be first-time entries. This mix gives the experts at our site a clear advantage when it comes to predicting who is going to come out on top.

There may be other handicappers out there offering quality Belmont picks, but we want to give ours away to our clients for FREE! All you would have to do is sign up with one of our recommended sportsbooks on this site and tell them that JeffAlex.com sent you. Depending on your initial deposit amount into a new account we will be able to provide you premium access for a certain period of time. All it takes is $50 to get in on one day of premium service, and if you want that day to cover this race just shoot us an email and let us know.

When the race draws near keep checking back with Jeff Alexander Sports for the latest and most up-to-date Belmont odds. We want to make sure that we have you covered for this final leg of the Triple Crown and that all starts with having the latest numbers to work with. You can’t beat the lines if you don’t know what they are, and Jeff Alexander and his staff search out several different racebooks so you can compare the latest lines with one another, therefore ensuring that you place your wagers at the places that will pay you out the most money.

If you plan on beating the Belmont odds on your own this year, then we recommend going over all of the articles put out by the Jeff Alexander staff in order to keep in the know. A lot of gamblers will be putting their action down on the ponies in this race, but if you don’t take the time to do a little homework then you will be left out in the dust come race day. Of course you can sign up for our premium picks at the site and get our opinions on who we think will win, place, and show, but some of you out there would like to do your own dirty work to come up with predictions. We wish those of you the best of luck and encourage you to read all you can before making any decisions.

When talking about Belmont odds you have to consider more than just the win, place, and show. There are also props that you could be betting on and head-to-head matchups to take advantage of. The major favorites will all have head-to-head matchups at top racebooks. If you think a horse is getting more attention that it deserves then all you have to do is bet against it when compared to a horse that you really like. There is always some nice value in these head-to-heads, but you’ll have to see what your book offers before making any bets. There are also some props you can take advantage of such as winning time, winning margin, and even if the number on the horse will be odd or even. There is no shortage of ways to bet on the Belmont Stakes, so get your action in and win during early June!

If you are looking to do any Belmont betting this year then you will want to stay tuned to what Jeff Alexander Sports has to offer in order to win big on raceday. Our expert handicapping service goes deep into the numbers, past races, and news around the track in order to find winners and if you plan on doing any wagering, we want to help you win as well. The first key to having a great and entertaining race day is picking out a racebook that is top-notch. This article will hopefully help you choose the book that is right for you.

The first racebook that we encourage you to take a look at is BetUS and that is because the bonus structure at BetUS is the best in the business. You can get up to 50% in bonuses for making deposits at BetUS as long as you meet the easy rollover requirements. Another great thing about BetUS is that you can bet on a bunch of different exotics, they take action on almost anything and the max payout is a whopping 100/1. You will get paid fast and be able to spend your winnings in no time all the while enjoying the convenience of betting from the comfort of your own home. Of course another great bonus is that this is one of our recommended racebooks, so if you make a deposit into a new account for as low as $50 and tell them Jeff Alexander sent you then we can provide our Belmont picks to you at no charge at all!

We also recommend you take a look at Bookmaker for your Belmont betting needs. Bookmaker is known as the place where the line originates and that motto is no different when it comes to the latest Belmont odds. Of course, not only do they allow you to place your bets before nearly every other book, but you also get a hefty 20% signup bonus for making an initial deposit. Another great thing about this book is that it caters to a lot of professional gamblers, so they will allow up to $100,000 to be won on any given race. This is a number that is unheard of in the gambling industry so if you like to throw a lot of action down, or like to take your chances on steep exotics this is the place for you. Bookmaker also gives up to 8% in daily rebates on exotics and 3% on straight wagers. Don’t worry about getting paid either, since this is one of the oldest and most reputable betting shops in the world.
