This is a good spot to take the Nats against a struggling Reds club.  Washington is an impressive 28-13 against the money line in home games when playing against a team with a losing record in the second half of the season over the last 3 seasons and 32-19 against the money line in home games vs. NL teams allowing 4.8 or more runs/game in the second half of the season over the last 3 seasons.  Cincy is a pathetic 18-43 against the money line vs. terrible power teams – averaging 0.75 or less HR’s/game over the last 2 seasons and 6-16 against the money line vs. an NL starting pitcher whose ERA is 3.50 to 4.20 this season.  Bergmann has been much better than his numbers might indicate and I like him here against a weakened Reds order.
