March Madness Predictions
Jeff Alexander Sports has all of your March Madness predictions. Let us give you a quick run down on some betting tips for this college basketball postseason tournament. While the media is hyping up the marquee matchups between the major conference schools or the top seeded teams, or who they think could be this season’s Cinderella story, Jeff Alexander and his staff are doing real research giving every single team and every single game in the tournament adequate attention. If you make your March Madness picks based on Jay Bilas, Hubert Davis, and Digger Phelps, your bankroll will be eaten up in a hurry, not to mention, these guys aren’t thinking in terms of the point spread and they cover the games that the media wants them to.
Although Jeff Alexander loves embarrassing the books on the primetime stage and will do so in the right spots, he is a very smart and selective sports investor who spends a lot of time looking at the under-the-radar teams who the line maker’s don’t pay as much attention to and therefore can’t set as tight of lines for. When we look at these teams for our March Madness predictions, three of the main components we examine are defense, depth, and experience. I can tell you right now that the team who wins the big dance will be great on the defensive end. It’s a given. You can’t shoot well every single game. Somewhere in there a team’s defense is going to have to pick them up. Depth is also a huge factor as somewhere along the line, key players will get into foul trouble and fatigue can be more of a problem in the postseason with the added pressure of the do or die situation. Lastly, we look at experience. This one isn’t set in stone. We saw a young Carmello Anthony and Luke McNamara lead the Syracuse Orangemen to a nation title a few years back, but keep in mind that this is a rare feat. We realize that college basketball is a younger game al around with all the early entries to the NBA draft, but an experienced team shows an advantage over one who has never yet played big games, and factor this in when you take a look at the March Madness odds.
The above factors: defense, depth, and experience are all things that most average sports enthusiasts can figure, but there are many behind the scenes systems and stat trends which often come into play that can keep you from making a big mistake with your March Madness betting. This is where Jeff Alexander comes in. Use Mr. Alexander as your second opinion and we guaranteed he will become your final say this March Madness.
