Bet Our NFL Expert Picks at Sportsbook!
There are a bunch of different things our guys look into before making their NFL expert picks. The first thing most people look at is the team’s record, but that doesn’t mean a whole lot if you don’t go deeper and see which teams they have beaten and which teams they have lost to. Plus, if you bet against the spread like we do most of the time instead of just the money line, you have to see by how many points the games were decided by. Don’t get caught laying a large number on a team that does just enough to get the job done every week. Back in the early years of this century the Patriots were notorious for this, being favored by more than a touchdown and winning by a field goal.
Another important factor is home field advantage. This is real in the NFL and is worth at least three points, which is a six point swing from a home and home. A tip we give new bettors is to imagine the home field advantage was switched around. So if Team A is favored by three points and you think they are a steal, imagine that team was instead on the road, would them getting three points still be a steal? If so then this is probably a game you want to take a look at with your NFL betting.
