The Sox sluggers will gladly welcome him to the hill tonight. Conversely, Matsuzaka is 2-1 when starting against Oakland with an ERA of 2.55 and a WHIP of 0.973. Boston is 16-3 against the money line when playing against a bad team (Win Pct. 38% to 46%) over the last 2 seasons, winning these games by an average score of 5.7 to 3.2.
