The Tigers are 4-0 in the last 4 meetings and an impressive 46-11 in their last 57 interleague games as a favorite. The Astros send lefty Wandy Rodriguez to the hill. He’s been good at home this season, but I expect him to struggle tonight against one of the most successful hitting teams in the league against lefty starters. The Tigers are 15-6 against southpaw starters this season, including 8-1 in their last 9 games vs. a left-handed starter. The Tigers are 6-1 in Verlander’s last 7 starts as a favorite of -110 to -150 and I’ll ride him in this price range again tonight.
